Hi all, firstly an apology to everyone who has received this GCN Update twice (or more times). As well as the normal GCN Update group, this Update has been sent to all the club email contacts we have on our database. If you wish to receive the monthly GCN Update, please subscribe using the link on the website (www.gamingclubnetwork.org).

2010 AGM & Council Elections

The GCN AGM will be held on the 30th January at Warhammer World. The official notice and election slips will be forwarded to clubs later this month. The closing date for council nominations is the 20th December and this should be sent to the GCN Secretary Gareth Williams (secretary@gamingclubnetwork.org).

As of today the following candidates are standing:
- President: Richard Kerry (The Sad Muppet Society), Si Crocker
- Vice President: Laurie Stewart (Leeds Night Owls)
- Treasurer: Steve Nolan (Leeds Games Club)
- Secretary: Gareth Williams (Chelmsford Bunker)
- Promotions Officer: Dan Currey (Bracknell Forest Gamers)

There will be more information about the elections, including statements from the candidates, on the website over the next couple of weeks.

Promotions Officer

Si Crocker has resigned from the role of Promotions Officer (Castalain of the Watch) with immediate effect. The Council would like to extend its gratitude for Si's time, effort and hard work for the GCN and community. The position will remain vacant until the AGM and Council Elections in January. In the meantime Laurie Stewart will take over the majority of Si's responsibilities.

Until next time, Happy gaming and have a great Christmas and New Year!
