eFootball Replace PES

Konami has officially renamed the soccer game Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) to eFootball. Not only the name, the company has also changed a number of systems that are claimed to be more indulgent for players.

Various advantages are said to be offered by developers to players, one of which is available for free or free to play. This policy does not require players to pay if they want to get the game they want to play.

According to Konami, the eFootball game will be available for various consoles such as PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC this fall. While the Android phone and iPhone versions will follow afterwards, according to the Konami website.

The company made the game free with the aim of taking a ‘platform’ approach. This also means that players will no longer have to pay annually when there is a renewal during the new season.

Sayonara PES Football Game

In the early stages of eFootball, there will also be a team building mode, but so far it has not been named.

When released later the game will only present nine clubs to play, including Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Manchester United, and Arsenal. There is a possibility that players will have to pay if they want more than that or in some other way.

IGN has not been able to find out more details about the renewal and other advantages of this PES replacement game.

However, it is certain that Peter Drury and Jim Beglin will continue as English-language commentators. Then eFootball will be launched as a football game with more modes, teams and platforms.

The move to the new engine also allows eFootball to add a new motion matching animation system that Konami says allows four times as many animations as the previous PES game.

This doesn’t sound like FIFA’s recently announced HyperMotion animation system, but Konami points out that Motion Matching will be applied to all versions of the game, even on mobile.

Konami promises to announce more about the eFootball gameplay and online mode by the end of August 2021.
